KSA CATS (Saudi Arabia): Arabian Maus!
EMRO is working in conjunction with Saudi Arabia (KSA) PAWS, a grassroots group in the East Gulf dedicated to helping the abandoned and orphaned tame cats, dogs, birds and other animals needing new homes, especially when those ex-pats leave and cannot take their pet with them.
In some cases we come across Maus, Mau mixes and Orientals that need rehoming and we will post these in this page.
The Founders of EMRO currently travel between Cairo and KSA and
can act either as pet escorts between these two locations, or keep
interested adopters aware of potential pet options from this often
hard-to-reach corner of the globe. Pet escorts can be occasionally
obtained to Europe and America, as there is a thriving foreign expat
community here. Pet preparation for travel is similar to that from
Cairo. Most are neutered/spayed already by PAWS, but the adopter
would have to pay for vaccines and other travel costs. Usually need
a minimum of 30 days to travel while pet escort sought.
Note: Maus from Saudi Arabia
are often interbred with local Orientals, creating a subgroup of
native Maus now known as Arabian
Maus. This group is now recognized as a breed of their own!
