This kitty was dropped off at EMRO by a car that quickly sped away! Dusty is healthy, happy and has been released in the outside section of the EMRO compound.

Update: Dusty disappeared around February, during the recent clashes in Cairo, but has now returned to EMRO. This kitty is fiesty, sweet, and twice a survivor of the Egyptian upheaval!

This regal-looking lady was rescued by Ms. Jeemen. This very friendly and sweet kitty is described as calm and enjoys being petted and held. Her fur is blue-ticked and has been described as being soft as velvet. She is clean, very alert, and litter trained.

This feral and cautious lad was rescued from the streets by Ms. Salma Sherif and brought to EMRO. He is semi-feral with other cats, but very feral with people. He has received his rabies vaccination and flea medication. He is litter trained. He is sibling to Faiz and Fawzy.

Beba lived in Ms. Ledia's garden but was brought in because Ms. Ledia does extensive traveling and feared she could not provide the adequate care that this mother and kittens needed. This feral beauty was rescued from the streets by Mr. Ehab when Rashid was only one month old. He is now unable to care for this kitty. Rashid is described as feral and doesn't appear to like other cats. He has not been socialized. He has received his rabies and flea medication. He is litter trained.

This is Madeha (the Roof Cat), a slightly feral, female Mau approximately 6 months of age. Her temporary Caregiver, Ms. Madeha (after who she is named), first spotted this kitten, injured and limping, 3 1/2 months ago on the roof of a building adjacent to hers. Ms. Madeha does not know how this little kitty ended up all alone on the roof but has managed to get her to be trustful and is now at EMRO. Madeha is described being frightened of most people, but her trust can be gained with patience and time. Unfortunately, Ms. Madeha already has 6 cats of her own and is unable to adopt any more. This sweet kitty was taken in-doors where she enjoyed being petted and stroked, and began complaining when it stopped!
