NEW, a Member's Only Club section for EMRO! In this section, the latest EMRO news on
EMRO HQ and Maus, both in general, locally and worldwide, will be posted and soon
accessed via password protection.
Since January 2010, we no longer print testimonials about adopted cats on the web site except
through our quarterly (or periodic) E-Mau e-bulletins which will be posted on the
Member's web page. Here we will highlight sponsored cats, information about EMRO staff,
volunteers' activities, and developments world-wide with Maus through research, etc. There
will also be an opportunity to participate in a members "blog", or chat group, in this
section as well - stay tuned! Note that the links to the first two ebulletins are
available to the general public, subsequent issues will be available through our Membership
only!
To become a Member, anyone who is a regular sponsor of a Mau, who has adopted a Mau, or
who has donated at least $50, or more, a year to EMRO (beginning from 2009) may obtain
access to this section. Anyone not currently qualifying can join at any time by becoming
a regular sponsor of a Mau, adopting a Mau or by donation. Additionally, Mau Members in
Egypt will receive a 10% discount off our merchandise if they purchase in person (e.g.
calendars, potential T-shirts, as well as other items for sale), while overseas Mau
Members will have limited access to these offers (sorry, currently we have distribution
issues regarding sending items overseas).
If you have other suggestions that may be offered in the Members Only section, please let
us know! We will keep the rest of the website relatively static with the exception of
regularly updating some sections like general news, our adoptable cats in Cairo, KSA and
elsewhere, and pet escort information, which will be open, of course, to everyone.
Best wishes for 2011!
