This Animal Rescue Siteworks towards feeding hungry animals. Each time you click on the site, you help towards providing a meal for a needy animal.

The latest news is the working animal outreach at the pyramids, going on now weekly. It is a free service hosted by the Brooke Animal Hospital and Donkey Sanctuary.

Vets from this charity come weekly to the pyramid to be of service to camel and horse owners who use their animal for tourist purposes (i.e. riding at the pyramids).

Often these animals are overworked and abused and still are expected to work with saddle sores and injuries. By providing a free vet service, the Brooke hospital hopes to encourage working animal owners to take more responsibility for their animals in giving them vet care and proper diets.

At the kick-off day in mid-September, 2005, Dr. Rainia ElKoshiny of Animal Friends also neutered and spayed a handful of wild dogs and cats, which were released upon recovery the next day.
